Contact FirstCare

We are committed to providing individualised and compassionate care to people in a homelike environment that enables them to live a full and abundant life.

Throughout our home, you will notice different themes that are comforting and familiar for our residents. From relaxing maritime scenes and indoor garden features to the ‘Rock n’ Roll’ and ‘Hollywood’ Wall of fame, complete with iconic imagery of the stars our residents grew up with, including Elvis Presley, James Dean and Marilyn Monroe.

The home even boasts a cosy wooden bar in the style of a traditional Irish pub, complete with the iconic Guinness Pelican wall frame. Here residents can enjoy a pint or a glass of wine in a convivial atmosphere.

The look, feel and character of the home has evolved over many years and is the work of staff, who have learned over many years what the residents like. Many of the detailed features are the work of Director of Nursing Louise Moran.

“No words or website can truly show the care that’s provided here in Blainroe.”
